Albert & Gage: We're looking forward to performing with the Kerrville Orchestra on closing night of the festival June 11. It's sure to be a musical highlight of June and the entire year. We'll be tending the home a/c (as opposed to the home fires) more than usual this summer, although we do have a great tour booked in Denver and New Mexico early next month - help us spread the word if you have friends and family in that area. But then we'll spend the season close to home working on studio projects, playing in Texas and catching up on all kinds of stuff after a very busy first six months of '06. MoonHouse Studio: Sharon Bousquet is finishing up her cool new CD and Lawrence J. Clark is getting started on a new one produced by Chris Gage. They're both great people to have around the MoonHouse, a consideration when we choose projects. MoonHouse Records: "Cry Love" is being well received. Dirty Linen magazine's Kerry Dexter calls it "A journey through loss, love, healing, change, and hope, with splashes of laughter and faith." Tom Geddie writes in Buddy Magazine "There is an inevitable and welcome sweetness to the music of Christine Albert and Chris Gage…The sweetness is in their beautiful harmonies and the obvious onstage chemistry…Cry Love, their fifth duet CD in nine years, is a sort of gospel of love, looking at both fulfillment, loss, and yearning." Songs from "Cry Love" have been played on at least 100 radio stations that we know of. Thanks to all of you wonderful dj's out there. Here's the ever changing list. |

...a note from Christine...
I always read Chris's note before I write mine and inevitably tie in to what
he writes about. While he is in Vegas with his boys I plan to stay
home and be quiet. The idea of reading, gardening, maybe doing some
yoga and songwriting in an empty house sounds incredible. I love my
life, my family and my man, but time alone doesn't happen much these days.
So, while Chris is walking the strip and pouring the allotted $25 into the
slots (that's all he ever allows himself in Vegas) I'll be relishing some
silence. My Mother's Day gift was a day at the spa at
The Crossings, so I'll
probably enjoy a massage and some pampering out there as well. |

...and a note from Chris...
Families
get spread so far apart, at least mine has. My immediate family lives
in Austin, Tampa, Pierre SD, Las Vegas, Denver, and South Carolina.
It's so hard for us to get together these days, it takes a little extra
effort. |
