Chris Gage's

own style can best be described as soulful country...he's a powerful, emotional singer, and a tasteful player with a knack for finding the heart of a song.....  swing, jazz, country, blues, bluegrass and rock and roll all pour out of this natural performer with similar ease. He sings, writes, produces, and plays guitar, piano, accordion, mandolin, dobro, lap steel, and bass.  As a sideman, he is in demand for touring and sessions worldwide.  With his performing partner Christine Albert, his talents reach their true potential. 

He was born in the 50's in a room overlooking the Missouri River in Pierre (pronounced 'peer'), South Dakota, probably best known as the shooting location of "Dances With Wolves".    It was in Pierre Chris began his extensive training in piano bars, honky tonks, coffeehouses, theatres, bars, lounges, arenas, casinos, dance halls, buses, planes, taxis, cafes, etc.  A road dog from birth, he was touring in a station wagon pulling a trailer at the age of 15.
