Greetings from the MoonHouse in lovely south Austin, Texas.
The old year passes and the new year grabs a hold of you. We spent our
10th annual New Year's Eve at Paul Barker's House Concert in the hills of West
Austin. It was emotional, fun, sad, funny, hip, square, quiet and raucous
all at the same time. We hope you rang in 2010 in your own way and enjoyed
it as much as we did. Remember when 2001 was a futuristic
space odyssey?
2010 was the sequel to that book (the year we make contact), and now here it is!
Hang on to your hats.
Thanks for another great year of music and
friendship. This month's newsletter is a bit brief because our hands are
full preparing to leave for Belize tomorrow for a week of making music with
Jerry Jeff Walker (read
more here) and just hanging out. I know, a thankless job.

A note
from Christine:
We've been in a whirlwind with the holidays and
trips to Florida and Las Vegas this past month. My bags still
need some more light packing (I'm trying) and there are last
minute bills to pay and emails to send, so I'll keep it short.
I'm looking forward to the island breeze, naps, books,
fish and songs. Not necessarily in that order.
