This event usually sells out, so there will be no ticket sales at the door!!  Please make your reservations early.  Due to a very busy travel schedule (Albert and Gage will be attending Grammy events in LA the week of February 8-13), we will not be able to facilitate last minute refunds

If there is a waiting list, we may be able to arrange for you to sell your ticket to another guest.  Or, make a friend's Valentine's special if you can't make it!

It's a Picnic!
Long tables with chairs will be provided.  You are invited to bring your own Valentine's meal and libations to enjoy at your seat - 8 guests per table.

This is not a potluck dinner - just BYO drinks and food.  There will be a coffee set up and water but be sure to bring your own utensils, glassware, plates, etc.  Think of it as an indoor picnic with a place to sit and enjoy romantic French music!

Christine Albert's French grandmother lived in Paris and her mother was born in Switzerland, so she was surrounded by the French language and culture throughout her childhood.  In a Santa Fe high school French class she discovered the music of Edith Piaf and the sounds of a Parisian café began to show up in the music of this country/folk singer-songwriter.

Her Franco-Lone Star fusion was described by The Austin American Statesman as "a waltz across Texas with Maurice Chevalier”.  She has evolved into the consummate “Texas Chanteuse”, combining her musical influences from Texas to Paris, Haggard to Piaf.

Christine has been presenting her Valentine's French Show in Austin, Texas for over twenty years, moving to various restaurants and venues around the city.  It has long been considered the most desirable Valentine's ticket in town.  We're excited to move to the historical and lovely American Legion facility.

The "Cow Beret Orchestra" includes Chris Gage (piano, guitar and accordion), Chip Dolan (piano and accordion), Paul Glasse (mandolin) and David Carroll (upright bass).
