Albert and Gage attended the 50th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

Christine is honored to be a Trustee on the National Board of Governors of The Recording Academy. www.grammy.com

Highlight:  Attending a tribute of Berry Gordy.  No entertainment was announced prior to the party, but ended up being no less than Smokey Robinson, Lionel Ritchie, Herbie Hancock and Stevie Wonder.   The other memorable event was a dinner honoring Aretha Franklin as MusiCares person of the year. 

Albert and Gage also attended the National Folk Alliance Conference in Memphis.  Four days of showcases, meet and greets, a booth in the exhibit hall, and very little rest.  At least we got a decent meal down at the Rendezvous.

A series of CD release parties are scheduled around the state of Texas to celebrate the release of
Christine Albert - "Paris, Texafrance".  Check the "shows" page for more information.

Paris, Texafrance is off to a fine start with an in-store performance at Waterloo Records, a packed CD release party at the Cactus Cafe, and shows in Belton, Crockett and Arlington.  We're on our way to Houston and Kingsville this weekend. 

Thanks to the venues and fans for receiving this new music so warmly.  Coming soon to a theatre near you!
